Pluto were a British band, formed in London in 1970 by guitarists/vocalists Paul Gardner and Allan Warner, bassist Michael Worth and drummer Derek Jarvis. Gardner had been in a sixties psychedelic outfit called Jack's Union. Pluto's main influences were Hendrix and The Who, and although their eponymous album showed touches of a really good band in the making, they never progressed further and split in 1973, having released just the one album and a few singles. Their album, released on the Dawn label, is quite collectible.
