Massada - Dansa, from "Astaganaga", their debut album, released in 1972. Massada were Holland's answer to Malo, El Chicano and Santana. A band blessed with a stunning brass and percussion section, they did a number of the aforesaid Malo covers, very well done, it must be said, as well as quite a few self-penned tracks. Unfortunately information this great band is almost impossible to find, but we do know, through one or two Dutch connections, that they were extremely popular in their home country and were a great live act. As far as we're aware, they released about four albums and split in the mid seventies.
