Blues guitarist/vocalist Lloyd Jones actually started out as a drummer in the early seventies, playing in a band called "Brown Sugar". He soon changed to the guitar and played with the Drifters for a while before recording his first solo album in the early nineties. If you like Tower of Power and Royal Crown Revue, then this CD's for you. That horn section kicks serious butt, and the recording is spot on!
