Faith - Such a Lady, Such a Lover, taken off "Faith", their debut album, released in 1973. Also known as The Faith Band, this little known US melodic keyboard orientated rock outfit were formed in the early seventies. Once again, we don't have much information about this outfit either, but we can tell you that this debut album is excellent. They were a very competent quintet and the band members were vocalist Carl Storie, bassist Mark Cawley, guitarist Dave Bennett, keyboard player John Cascella and drummer David Barnes. They seemed to disappear after this album, released on the rare Brown Bag Record label, but re-emerged in 1977 under their new name of "The Faith Band". Their style of music had also changed somewhat - they had now veered in a much more AOR/West Coast direction, similar in style to Ambrosia and Niteflyte. They released a further four albums and split in 1979.
